The Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) is the largest and busiest airport in the Colombo area and in Sri Lanka. It is also known as the Katunayake International Airport or Colombo International Airport.

The airport is the main carrier of both SriLankan Airlines (National carrier) and Mihin Lanka (A regional budget carrier). Some of the other international commercial airlines that land at BIA are;
